1. Scope
This Privacy Policy describes how the operator of NoorParty ("NoorParty," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use the NoorParty mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Services").
By using the Services, you acknowledge the practices described here. NoorParty is intended only for people aged 18 and over.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Account and profile information: display name, age or date-of-birth confirmation, profile image, biography, interests, and login or linked sign-in identifiers.
- Content and social activity: rooms you create or join, comments, reactions, follows, messages, virtual interactions, reports, and content you choose to share.
- Support and safety information: information in support requests, reports, appeals, surveys, and feedback.
- Purchase records: transaction status, product, and purchase identifiers. Apple, Google, or another authorized platform processes your payment details under its own terms.
Information collected automatically
- Device and network data: device model, operating system, app version, language, time zone, IP address, network information, permitted identifiers, and diagnostic logs.
- Usage data: features used, rooms visited, interactions, session times, approximate region inferred from IP address, app performance, and crash information.
- Audio data: live audio is transmitted to provide voice-room features. Audio may be temporarily processed or retained when necessary to investigate a report, protect users, or comply with law, subject to applicable legal requirements and our retention practices.
Device permissions
With your permission, NoorParty may access the microphone so you can speak; photos or camera so you can choose a profile image; and notifications so you can receive updates. You can manage permissions in device settings. Some features will not work without the relevant permission.
3. How we use information
We use information to:
- create and maintain accounts and provide voice, social, discovery, and support features;
- personalize rooms, topics, and people suggested to you;
- review reports, enforce our Terms and Community Guidelines, and prevent fraud, spam, abuse, and illegal activity;
- process and verify purchases and answer billing questions;
- maintain service performance, diagnose errors, analyze usage, and improve features;
- send service, security, and—where permitted—promotional communications; and
- comply with law and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
4. How we disclose information
We do not sell personal information for money. We may disclose information:
- To other users: profile details, public room participation, and content you choose to share are visible according to the feature and your settings.
- To service providers: vendors supporting hosting, live audio delivery, analytics, communications, customer service, fraud prevention, purchases, and moderation, under contractual safeguards.
- For legal and safety purposes: where reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights or safety, investigate misuse, or respond to valid legal process.
- For business transactions: in connection with a merger, reorganization, financing, acquisition, or asset transfer, subject to appropriate protections.
- With your direction: when you request or consent to a disclosure.
Third-party sign-in, app-store, and payment services handle information under their own privacy policies.
5. International processing
NoorParty is an international service. Information may be processed in countries other than where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
6. Retention and security
We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary to operate the Services, meet legal and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and protect the community. Periods vary by data type and purpose. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it unless law requires longer retention.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards. No system can guarantee complete security.
7. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to processing, or obtain a copy of personal information, and to withdraw consent. You can change profile details in the app, manage permissions in device settings, and opt out of non-essential messages.
To delete your account, use the in-app option or follow the instructions on our Account Deletion page. We may verify your identity before completing a request. You may also have the right to complain to a local data-protection authority.
8. Children
The Services are not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. Contact us if you believe a minor has created an account.
9. Changes
We may update this Policy to reflect changes in the Services, law, or our practices. We will post the revised version with a new effective date and provide additional notice where required.
